3) I'm being serious. There was a bit on Moissanite on the tube a while back and women guessed which was which more often than the jewelers did. Like I said, they have a sixth sense about diamonds for some reason.

Don't do it...Even if none of the above takes place, almost certainly, she will take it to a jeweler to have it checked for authenticity when you aren't around. This is pretty easy since all they do is take out this tool that looks like a pen and push on the diamond with it. It lights up signaling whether the rock is real or fake.

My budget for the whole valentines day, start to finish is $100. If I can't do something special and meaninful on that, then I'd rather not do anything at all.
