v-core discrepancies

I set my v-core to 1.75 in my BIOS but ASUS probe says my v-core is only at 1.675.

Is this because my power supply is at it's limit or because ASUS probe is inaccurate.

Which board are you using? My Asus A7V880 tells me via Asus Probe vcore is 1.73v. In Bios, it reports 1.65v plus or minus a point.

My advice based on my experience is don't worry if things work and don't change drastically.

I have an ASUS k8vse-dlx

The reason I'm asking is I could possibly overclock a little bit more if I could raise my v-core higher.

My CPU is still very chill at like 33 degrees idle and about 37 when running hard.

Any advice would be appreciated

Those readings can be very inacurate. If you are stable (eg. Prime95 overnight) you have enough voltage.
Your temps are quite good so you have some headroom to bump up your voltage as necessary.

The problem is I can't raise it any higher. The choices in my BIOS max out at 1.75. Any way to override this or would that be bad for my motherboard
