When I finish downloading something and I am now seeding, anyone know of a way where I can physically move the file, but still seed it? I like keeping my stuff organized but I don't want to stop seeding right away either, I like to at least give back to the community.

Especially good for Linux distros and what not.

There's an option to use two different directories, one while downloading and one after the download finishes.

In the past I've also been able to move a file (cut/paste), then change the path of where to store the file in uTorrent. You could even do this by deleting the old torrent and re-downloading the torrent into the place where you've moved it. It has to re-scan the file, but it then seeds normally.

Hit the stop button on the torrent, then move the file, then right click the torrent in utorrent > advanced > set download location. After that, resume it and it should continue seeding (after checking the files). Or maybe you have to manually do a "force recheck", but either way it'll work.

Thanks I'll try that out.
