uTorrent problems

I had a similar issue, turned out to be a bad HDD, I don't want to assume your issue is the same, but for me it was.

I repartitioned, reformatted and reinstalled the OS hoping it was software, but ran into the same issue.

I Replaced the drive and never saw the issue again.

you need first delete dht.dat, resume.dat, rss.dat, settings.dat files in C:/Documents and Settings/Admin User/Application Data/uTorrent
replace dht.dat.old, resume.dat.old, rss.dat.old, settings.dat.old to dht.dat, resume.dat, rss.dat, settings.dat

then run your downloader torrent file again in utorrent & unchecked start download & then play your resume again
