Just got back from a meeting and it seems that a group of people, any size, are incapable of liking one common thing. Be it anything, from a movie, a song, food,a color,an emotion,an acheivement , any goddamn thing. Sometimes I think its better if people weren't told things. I try not to manipulate people in meetings or at work, but its impossible to make everyone feel like their opinion counts and also get things done. Why this diversity? Even animals are physically different, but all the carnivores eat meat. Its not like a couple of lions figured they'd switch to soy instead of deer meat.
So in the name of science and in the quest to understand humans, or whatever it is we choose to call ourselves nowadays, I hope somebody can name just one thing which everybody agrees they like. Not a majority like a democracy, but everybody.
