Utility to help shutdown speed in win2k?

I am running win2k, whenever I shutdown my computer it takes a really really long time (i thought 3ghz computers were faster than this...). Is there any utility that would help to tweak my OS so that it could shutdown faster?

1. click start > run > Regedit
2. go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/Control.
3. Click on "Control" Folder.
4. Select "WaitToKillServiceTimeout"
5. Right click on it > select Modify.
6. Set it to lower than 2000

Thanks Schadenfroh, it was set to 20,000. i haven't checked out the speed difference though.

thanks djdrastic: where would i find the option to disable clean paging file at shutdown? i tried looking at system properties and all of it's tabs but couldn't find it.
