Utility BIOS?

I want something, similiar to what Dell has, that is loaded in BIOS/CMOS or is launched from Windows... that runs diagnosis of the computer. The whole computer.... CPU, RAM... HDD... VGA... keyboard.... Any good software like that?

The dell program is totally worthless...I worked there, I know. The only thing it ever failed was ports and hard drives. But that doesn't mean there aren't worthwhile programs out there. I hear those pci card diag things are decent. In general though, those programs are not necessary for troubleshooting.

CheckIt, Belarc, PTest, PCTest, PC Mechanic, Ontrack. There are a lot of them, but not too many are cheap. I use Check It, but it is several hundred dollars. The Dell program works very well for our shop. What is it you don't like about it.
