God who knows how many all nighters i was up playing UT3,its the only game of its time i still have on my pc land still play from time to time.

The evening when i went from a e6750 and 8800gts to a q6600 and a gtx280,i was up the entire evening just having the time of my life with this insanely fast fps.

I hope there is a UT4 but i ever doubt its arrival,i got on the gaming scene alot later then most of you guys i assume being 2006 but having tried the ut2004 demo,i can see why people love ut2004 more then UT3 for sure.

why do retards use the ingame server browser to find people playing? this has been a problem since Day of Defeat meaning it transcends not only UT3 but also years before and idiots still complain about the ingame browser... you know what? if you complain about it, just stop playing games all together because you probably suck at this game and any other game and call people cheaters that kick your ass ingame thus causing trolling trouble .. let me help you again like i stated here tada, dummy i started using HLSW server browser in 2004-5' to eliminate the problem.. why people still use the ingame server browser in 2012 is beyond me

Why companies put out shit games and rely on 3rd party browsers is beyond me.
And apparently, beyond you too.

Full duel server tonight:

216.52.143.87:7777:6500 - [cQ] Chicago WREX Anti Cheat Required Server -

do you use some site to find servers or do you use ingame list?
if you use another site or app for this...does it show more servers or just show the same thing as the game does?

i never thought about using anything else other than ingame.

I made a custom server list within HLSW. HLSW is constantly updating, a steady stream of maybe 6kbps or less which is better than taking a snapshot of the server list while ingame. I have 2 computers so I can instantly find where people are at.. You can add any game you'd like, COD series, BF3 series, etc. I've made a list of servers that are active in UT3 and freely check it when i need. I initially made the list from active servers through UT3's ingame server browser.

Played 2k4 alot and still do, its a fun game. UT3 demo didn't have that same feeling.

I just got the Unreal Pack on steam since it was on Sale and I got sick of installing 5 discs.

Ill try UT3 since I have it.

It's too bad you missed the original UT99. I probably never played UT99 for more than 10 hours straight, but if it were possible I would have played it for weeks straight. As one fan once described it, "It was an amazing time to be a gamer."

Me, too.

How fricking hard could it be to produce a polished, high-quality, first-rate server browser today? If you can build a game engine, it shouldn't be real hard to make a good server browser.

I recently started playing UT3 more, I played a bit before, but now I play way more often, I'm even working on a map.

My server is ut3.uovalor.com:7777 and the redirect is http://ut3.uovalor.com (in case it does not work in-game for some reason).

It's not really a themed server, mostly standard stuff with some downloaded custom maps. Sometimes I enable mutators for fun. It's mostly on 24/7 and has a 100mbps uplink.

Used to be my Ultima Online server but I recently shut it down due to lack of players.

man, feels like UT3 came out a lot longer ago than 4-5 years, maybe its because it fizzled out so fast and was heavily overshadowed by Crysis
