For those into e-sports. ESWC 2004 (electronic sports world cup) starts in a few days in France from July 6-11. The world's best Q3, UT2004, CS players will compete for prize money and prestige. You can watch games live or watch the demos afterwards. I follow these events every year. It's a lot of fun.

Tonight we will go through a bunch of new maps (new to everyone, just to see how it goes) I"ll post a link in a minute to some mpas to install. Tommorow we will decide which maps to actually play on.
 
DL warning -- it's 160 MB of maps so people should start downloads early not at 9:30!

I'll be there, though I might not even be Mostly Harmless on maps I've never played 🙂

Will tonight's server be set up as humans vs. bots, or just humans?

Any teamwork skills in particular we should be working on?
 
*frowns* Let's just play the maps that come included, or are from ut2k4_winxp_extra.exe, cbp2-volume1.zip or cbp2-volume2.zip. Otherwise we're not likely to get much of a turnout.

DeviousTrap usually doesn't turn on his server until very close to game time.

its at 9 pm its currently 8:15.

actually the listed time is 9:30, about an hour from the time of this edit.
