I have been working on getting up w/ some clans (the ones that don't play UT for a living) so we can have some fun and not get slaughtered in the process. Match will consist of mostly ONS maps, but maybe more if there is enough interest.

I've been talking with DeviousTrap and we have tentively decided to scrimage on July 11 in the evening, which is a Sunday. We need 10 players to make this happen. We also need to have people who can really show up (and on time).

If you're interested and can honestly make it to this, please post in this thread. If we can get up enough players the next step will be to get a map list so I can tell the other team what we will be hosting up. Please be prepared to devote a couple of nights between now and then for practice.

UPDATE 7/2/04 - We are planning a practice this Tuesday July 6 @ 9:30PM EST. If you interested in playing in the scrimage on 7/11 you will need to attend at least one of the two practices we will be having next week. This will also give us a better idea of how many are interested.

This is the official list (as of the moment ;)). If more are added it will be noted here. There will be a game for anyone interested from AT tonight @ 10:30 EST. This is an informal game to get everyone familiar w/ the maps.

UPDATE 7/8/04 - There will be a practice tonight @ 9:30PM EST. If you're available please download the maps from the link above and come join us.

UPDATE 7/10/04 - DeviousTrap will have the server open tonight @ 10PM EST for those who are intersted. There will be a new map added called Lunacy. It will NOT be in the map rotation for tomorrow's game. The official game time will be @ 9:30PM EST Sunday.

Also, if you're planning on playing in Sunday's scrimage, please PM me your in-game name so I can form a team roster.

UPDATE 7/11/04 - I'm sorry to post that the other clan "Unisol" had an implosion and the result was no communication with me until the very end only to tell me. So instead we are going to play a casual game. I do apologize for this. I was kept out in the cold until the very end and have been trying to get in touch with them for days.

If you are looking for ONS practice, Cains Lair is a competitive server, with mostly experienced players. I play there all the time as LAMONT.

I will be out of town the 11th, or I would be down. Perhaps next time.

Is this game anything like Quake 1? I was pretty good at that game just to warn you guys.

Yeah, I was hoping to stay Diamond until at least August (3 years) but no such self-control :)

If we might play something besides ONS, let us know as early as possible -- I've only played a couple of hours of UT2K4's CTF, wandering around lost until someone put me out of my misery.

I prefer team games, since then my teammates can help make up for my lack of competence :)

I'm in but I only play ONS. If you're going to have other maps, I'll need to practice a bit so let me know. I can probably play DM, TDM, INV and CTF and at least hold my own. AS, CB and some of the others will take some practice. Yeah, a list of maps would be good so we know what to expect.

I've been thinking about an ATOT clan. I wouldn't mind kicking some butt with fellow ATOTers as long as it doesn't get too serious with required matches and practices.

How about the following times:
Practices Tuesday and Thursdays at 9 est?
Matches on Sundays sometime between 8 and 10 eastern.

I could make every match, but I might have to miss a practice now and then since I'm sometimes still working at 6 PM Pacific time (once in awhile much later).
