UT2007

Here is the link: Confirmed

Here is a video of the Sony Press Confrence that shows what appears to be UT2007 for the PS3: Sony P.C. Video

The good stuff is around the 38 minute mark. And you can tell it is a UT game cause the weapon that is being used is the Rocket Launcher.

Enjoy!

At least I've got a little time before I have to make my dual-core A64/G70 (or R520) upgrade. 😉

(Although I'll still probably do it this year anyway 😀)

Because it won't be out until 2006. And I suppose they want to give themselves breathing room if it does happen to slip into 2007 as well, just like UT2004 was originally planned for Fall 2003 but didn't end up coming out until March 2004...

(UT2003 was released in October 2002, FWIW.)

Looking forward to the new Conquest gametype. And fortunately, the release of UT2007 coincides with my next PC purchase so I'll have a brand new rig to run it on.

so we have about 2 years to wait until we buy new video cards right ? I can't imagine the 9800 Pro stacking up then...

Probably more like one year (or maybe a little longer). In any case, the 9800 Pro will be at least two generations old by that point (eclipsed by the current 6800/X800 series, and then those eclipsed in a few months again by the G70/R520).

i sure do wish we had a software and games forum so that all these discussions could be put there and i could go back to my regular YAGTs and gruesome pics

Last night on G4 TV they showed a 2 minute real time demo of UT2007. I'm not sure what I wanted more UT2007 or Morgan Webb????????????
