320x180? No thanks, I'll wait until a higher-than-cell-phone-resolution version is released somewhere :p

(Edit: for free, that is)

K, it looks awesome and all, but they say all new maps and a lot of those look like old ones with upgraded graphics.

wow, looks nice.
i think they ruined the series when they added vehicles. the original UT is the best by far. couldn't really stand the newer versions.

Wow... the Leviathon sure looks different. Hopefully its still the mass destruction machine the UT2K4 one is :p
So anyone want to guess the minimum system reqs for UT2K7?? Or are they posted somewhere?

There are some good ideas out there. I have no doubt that it will run better than Oblivion though.

minimum: 2.8GHz, 512mb Ram,Geforce6
for high details: 3-4GHz, 1Gb Ram, Nvidia 6800GT/ultra or 7800GT/GTX SLI
Dual-core Processor use: Multi-Threading is supported and should provide much better performance.
64 Bit version available with better textures
Renderers: Shader-3.0, Fallback-Mode for Shader 2.0 maybe a dx8 renderer.
HDR: yes
physics: Novodex-Physik-Engine.
Ageias PhysX Processor supported.

thats from beyondunreal i think....

ageia support is in there, but what is novodex? same thing?

if the dual core line is right, i better be getting me a dual core soon, and ill be sad if my 7800gts dont have the muscle to power this game at or near full detail with light AA and 16xAF at 1280x1024 at least

I loved the last game. Also, the vehicles were only available in one mode so it didn't ruin the death match or capture the flag games. I would still be playing it, had someone not stolen my copy.

Ok good. The next system I'm trying to put together will be a X2 4400+ with 2GB ram and a 7900GT. Should be fine for this then :)

It doesn't look as good as the tech demos that Epic was showing at some of the Nvidia launches I was at. It looks good, but I've seen them have some WAY better looking stuff. Might be for a future game though.

to be fair UT is like CS, theres soo many people who play it and alot of these people simply dont have killer computers, so its very definately been toned down to some extent.

i have high hopes that epic will do a fine job of the coding though jus like valve did a fine job with HL2. i think most other games since then have ran poorly without much reason. FEAR for example didnt look all that much better, but seemed to like it when i upgraded from a 6800GT and 1Gb to 7800GT's and 2Gb and this was only at 1280x1024. HL2 ran sublime

Damn that game is going to kick some serious ass. The trailer wasn't too bad even though it was low resolution.

UT has always been very scaleable, and I'm sure this one will be no different.
