Hi ,

I didnt know exactly where to post this question , anyway i choose here .

Heres the thing , iuse to run UT G.O.T.Y edition from my 3 PC's at home .

I have a broadband router and me and my 2 brothers used to all take a PC each and start a LAN game where the 3 of us could all play in the same room. it worked fine .

Now i have UT2004 and i am trying to do the same thing , but when i setup the server i can join ok , but the other 2 PC's in my house cant join ?

I must be doing something wrong , does anyone know how to do this properly ?

[ btw , i run PC Cillin and have Win XP SP2 but ive turned of all the Antivir and Firewall software. ]

Should probably have posted in the Software forum.

Anyway, if all your machines are on a lan, you shouldn't have any problems. Are any of them running firewalls as well? If your machine goes through wireless though or has a router between you and the clients, then there could be some NAT port forwarding issues there.

Hi ,

Yeah i use a broadband router now to send the connection to all the PC's .

I didnt know if that would make a difference from using network cards in each PC .

anyway i setup listen server and im in ok , but then the second PC trys to connect and it just keeps on trying at the "connecting - F10 to go back to server borwser " screen

I have a Router config page that i can change my router settings ,

it has settings like :-

System
WAN
LAN
NAT
Firewall
Routing
