UT2004 DVD not recognized on my DVD

What is the drive? Do you have the latest firmware for it? Does it have problems reading other DVDs?

yes what dvd rom do you have and if it's recent.. you better report it to Epic.

my dvd is an aopen 1040 (~2 years old). I actually found out that some others with the same drive had the same problem, so it is likely drive related. I'm looking for firmware as we speak.

I think the issue is the anti copy protection on the cd's/dvd's if I'm not mistaken. I have heard something about the new anti copy techniques that some drives are not compatible with. Check it out with Epic/Atari.
