UT2003

Same reason EA is calling their next football game Madden 2003, the UT devs wanna make it more like a sport.
 
Because in January 2003, "UT2002" would sound like an old game.

It doesn't bother me when football, hockey, nba games that are released in 2002 are called "2003" because the real season extends into 2003... But to have a Baseball game which is released in April named "2003" is just silly.

Because car companies dont use the same calender as the rest of us 🙂

Come to think of it most sw companies must have their own aswell. Oh it will be done in um... whats that month there aha well no is there a year somewhere on this thing nope um... but if we say sometime early next year that should give us time what! they change year after december? how ofter do they do that?
