UT2003 server question: 45mbit on a 800Mhz Duron?

The connection is super - 45mbit is faster than any server would ever need. The problem is the server itself - it's only an 800MHz Duron with 256MB of RAM. I was wondering if someone out there with experience could tell me how this would work? How many users would a dedicated server running on that machine could handle?

I don't know for sure, but I can tell you that 32 users on a Dual 933mhz setup on an oc3 is fine. You should just try it out and see what happens.

The duron would be fine I'm guessing but 256 isn't quite enough, 512 would be much better.

Hmm yeah dual 933 is a little different from single 800 though 😀 This should be able to handle a dozen though, right?

the duron 800 should be fine its the network traffic that will kill the game, you have 45 up and down?

Set it up, and we'll get a dozen people to try it out. Should be more than fine, considering mine can handle 32.
