UT2003 buddy list thread!

I was thinking it might be cool for everyone to list their UT2k3 handle so we could find other ATers (and hopefully take over a few servers in the process). Just type the person's handle into the "add buddy" thingy and the game will show you what server they're currently playing in. Click "join" on that server and you're in. Pretty handy. List your in-game name and whether you've got the demo or the retail game.

hopefully the mods won't censor it even more....i thought it'd be cool to have a handle that relates to terminator and killing kittens...those robot skins really inspired me...especially with the hip thrusts while holding a shock rifle....oh on side note...sucks that they took out this cool thing: in regular UT...u were able to still fire you weapon while still dancing when the round ends...so when u win, and everyone sees you, you can dance and fire like crazy....i was saddened to see that they took that out

My colleague/mentor created "UTBuddy" for UT, which was a program for Windows that you would open up along with playing UT and anyone registered would show up on that list of players currently online. You can click on their name in the list and it would show you the name of the last server (hyperlinked too) they played at and how long ago. He was really into it too... with a nice skin and "check for updates" to his little proggy. It was doing quite well on FilePlanet until the server hosting this program/code lost its harddrive. It is no more.

I thought Epic was going to include something like this for UT2k3, but alas... they chose not to for reasons unknown to anyone.

Well that isn't very true. But I recommend you buy it to avoid the hassle everytime you look for servers.
