Hey!

How can I run a timedemo in UT? like in q2/3... I heard you have to create a td first?
What's the console command to turn on timedemo stats (need it for deus ex).

should be timedemo 1

There's a menu option under tools that is timedemo statistics. You can just click it there to get it running. Haven't tried it in Deus Ex though, I'm afraid it'd show single digit frame rates most of the time 🙂
 
While you're in the intro/fly-by, hit the tilde(`) key to activate the console. Type in

timedemo 1

and press the enter key. Hit tilde(`) again to hide the console, wait for several passes(5?) of the fly-by and press it again. It will tell you the average framerates for each run of the fly-by.

Note: it is very important that you hide the console because if you don't it will seriously affect the accuracy of the benchmark.
