Hey,

I'm running XP with the 23.11's and it seems that vsync is ON for direct3D games, not sure about openGL, but yeah, whenever I play UT I'm always limited to exactly 85FPS, and I know I can do more,

Is there any fix or anything that let me get passed that? I think it happens in other games as well...

Thanks for your help.

Well, did you look at the advanced video options? (right click on desktop->properties->settings tab-> advanced button) The VSync options are there for both D3D and OpenGL.

The 23xx drivers ignore your driver vsync settings in Direct3D so it's always on. This is pretty much the reason why I stick to the 2250s.

UT has an independent VSYNC control within the game. If you want it disabled by default, open your UT.ini file with Notepad and find the entry under your "[D3DDrv.D3DRenderDevice]" heading. Set " UseVSync=" to "True".

Thanks Brian!

That did the trick, it's all good now, I'm going to go check a few other games.
