UT patch out

There is a new patch out, v432. Fixes a few things, like some sort of zoom cheat. The best part is, no more CD check! w00t! You can finally feel good about having paid for your own copy, and being able to use it.

You can grab it at all the usual places, incuding my UT server. Enjoy!

It's about time they killed the CD check. I *HATE* CD checks. As far as I'm concerned I don't want a CD in my drive unless I'm installing software. It's a waste of a few seconds of my life waiting for the drive to spin up and read the CD when I open My Computer! That adds up over time... 😛

Of course the best thing is being able to play LAN games at home with a single copy. I've got a 4 PC LAN at home and it's unfair to have to pay for multiple copies if I only have friends over to play on it every few months or so. Now I don't have to burn multiples or use CD cracks. :Q

what you've been using the cd still? Did no one ever tell you about this lovely little site? But on another note, it's good to see they finally woke up and dropped the cd check, now I don't have to go get a new "cd check free" .exe each time they release a new version.

Hey MooCow....

I read that some of the last 2 NO-CD cracked .exe's where trojans....

I found one that opened an incredibly high port number in my computer and also read on one of the Tech Sites, the web master talking of that it happened to him too....
