UT in XP wont run full screen

have a voodoo 5, and frame rates dropped from 75 now down to 20-30, which i am assuming its cuz it is running in a window..

any help would be GREATLY apprecaited!

Which drivers are you using? AFAIK the Voodoo5 doesn't work in Glide & OpenGL in XP with MS's default drivers. You'll have to use Direct3D or download some of the unnofficial drivers floating around the web.

To use Direct3D run the video configuration option in UT and re-detect your video card. If you see Direct3D in the list, use it.

each time i try to install the drivers from 3dfx.com it says invalid directory at the beginning of install, and wont let me install any 3rd party drivers.

You could just make the destination directory in DOS.

The command MKDIR followed with the directory name
