This is the tracking info i got from usps.

hmm...shipped from kentucky, check point in the US, and accepted in the US...really helpful

USPS tracking is a waste of money. It doesn't even tell you where your package is. All it is is proof that it was shipped and delivered.

Well yeah, only delivery confirmation, no tracking. Too bad they don't, it would be worthwhile and profitable.

when i orderd from buy.com , they had usps tracking and i knew when my package left, where it was at,when it left that location, and when it arrived
 
Their version of tracking isn't progress of where it's been/going and when. It's just whether or not it got there. That's been my experience the 2 times that I actually paid for it.
 
isn't the info in the original post the tracking info? It's not very informative but i guess it's still tracking info

I guess it depends on your post office and their technology. Some people have old post offices so they don't have the "tracking" technology.
