Anyone think they'll get with the program and have a real time tracking system similar to FedEx/UPS? I wish they did. I'd pay a few more cents for the tracking if it was real time.

Hopefully. I've been waiting for a package shipped on the 14th. Since the day it was shipped it has said:

"Status: Electronic Shipping Info Received

The U.S. Postal Service was electronically notified by the shipper or shipping partner on March 14, 2006 to expect your package for mailing. This does not indicate receipt by the USPS or the actual mailing date. Delivery status information will be provided if / when available. Information, if available, is updated every evening. Please check again later."

Thanks USPS. Meanwhile, they have no clue where the package is, and neither do I.

Nope.

That's why I use FedEx Ground almost exclusively unless it's a small and cheap (under $99 value) package.
