dhslammer: hehe, funny
actually, delivery confirmation came in handy once. i shipped a package to a guy, and he emailed and said he didn't receive the package. i checked the DC on website, and the package was waiting at his post office for pick-up. turns out, the postman left a note at his door to pick up a package at the post office (because postman rarely leaves stuff by the door, although it has happened to me before), and the note was lost somehow. he didn't know the package was attempted by the postman for delivery, and DC solved the mystery. too bad DC isn't 35 cents anymore.
btw, does anyone know what the law says if a sender shipped a package (w/o DC or insurance) and the package never arrives? is shipper required to refund all monies owed?
