USPS is absolutely horrible. I've been sending out 98k-100k postcards in a single job, and running the job a couple of times per year. The number of cards that are returned to us as undeliverable when they are correctly addressed is astounding. The number of cards mutilated by the mail handling system? Who knows - I get quite a few mangled cards sent back to me, and I shudder to think of the number of cards that are completely obliterated. And then carriers ignore the "RETURN SERVICE REQUESTED" endorsement, and forward or deliver mail to addresses other than the address printed on the face of the card, when they are supposed to return it as undeliverable.

I've had problems with Fedex, UPS, and DHL, too. None of them are perfect, and I realize that USPS handles an outrageous volume of mail, but I'd be more inclined to use a carrier pigeon than USPS.

To the last of my knowledge, FedEx was USPS's carrier pigeon
