USPS Problems

Hi,

I sent out a check to someone via Priority on Monday and they still haven't gotten it today. Has anyone had priority take longer than 2-3 days? I've shipped alot of stuff before and I've never had this problem...I had signature confirmation on it but on their site it still shows up as just being Accepted but not delivered...any clues to what I should do? I'll probably call my bank tomorrow to make sure that the check has not been cashed any other ideas?

I shipped out 2 Priority Mail packages on Tuesday (both going from MS to NJ) and both still show up as being accepted at the PO only. I did get word that one package arrived today.

That's 4 days for shipping that would normally take only 2 days. I think the slowness is due to the holiday shipping.

Yeah...mmm...but Monday morning -> Saturday and still nothing? I've had packages dropped off once in Michigan on a Saturday morning and I got it Monday morning lol...I guess I'll wait hopefully it shows up on Monday otherwise I really don't know. This makes me what to start shipping items like this via UPS/Fedex/DHL where I can at least have full tracking so I know where the heck it is...rrr I always supported USPS too great rates and reliability. As long as it wasn't lost/stolen I'll be happy.

sent a 1st class package from west to east coast on the 5th. should have arrived yesterday or today at the latest based on the many packages i've sent before, but still nothing. think it's all the holiday shipping.

USPS priority is not a 2-3 day guarantee, it's an average. You should hold tight for another week.

There are mail delivery people who don't scan packages all over the U.S.... delivery confirmation is as good as useless I've found... so is the 2-3 day statement they make (I know it's an average, however it's really a gamble sometimes)
