does fedex have something comprable to USPS where if you use Priority Mail, they give you the boxes for free? i looked on fedEx's website and i couldn't find anything like that. i just saw something for a 10% account.

You can order them online and have the USPS ship them to your house for free too. All different sizes, free tape as well.

USPS is just terrible.
Worst tracking system ever.
Ripoff insurance
Post Office = lines that go for hours

UPS FTW! Free shipping supplies. Not just boxes. I got labels and the pouches too =)

USPS priority is one of the best service ever
Its not a tracking system, its called 'Delivery Confirmation'
dont know about insurance
The one in newport beach is staffed by 6+ clerks, goes by fast even with long lines (if USPS was so horrible, why would so many people use it? :p )

Mighty fine service imo

So many people use it because it's the cheapest thing to use for letters. ;)

USPS service is generally horrible here in Central Ohio.

I knew that USPS and Fedex would give free supplies; I didn't know about UPS either.

Priority is the fastest method for the least amount of money. It arrives in 2 days for the same price as other carriers ground method that takes 5-7 days.

It's not tracking, it's delivery confirmation

I can't comment on the insurance because I've never had an issue

Lines that go for hours? I'm usually in and out because there is an automated postage machine that takes like 30 seconds to use.

Don't you just love Goverment Giveaways'? They complain about MS giving away IE to drive away the competition, but when the USPS gives away free packing supplies it's ok.

I won't use any other service and will always choose a store that offers USPS over another that don't..

USPS Priority mail rocks! Use the online thing at USPS.com to make your label, pay for it, and get FREE delivery confirmation. Plus they will bring free boxes to your door and pick up the boxes! :D I sound like a commercial for the USPS but they got a good thing going right now. ;)

This is one of the good things about being an American... believe me, I know guys in Argentina who must ship everything DHL at like $50 a box because their government postal system is like a blackhole where only 20% of shipped stuff works it's way to the other side.

Agreed; for packages 5lbs and under, USPS Priority or Express is what I use. FedEx Express or UPS Air both charge significantly more for their services.

Full tracking is only available on Express packages, and it works fine. Priority gets Delivery Confirmation, which may only show one or two location scans before delivery.

And you guys are n00bs if you haven't used Click-n-Ship. What are these lines you speak of? I walk in, drop the package on the counter, walk out 10 seconds later.

Any type of Ground Shipment require your own packaging

Only Air services give you free supplies. You need an account with Fedex/UPS to get the supplies page to be delivered
Unless you drop by Kinkos/ UPS Store
