i sent in a Logitech z-5500 pod for rma via USPS priority 2-3 day last Wednesday and i called Logitech today to check up if it has arrived and they said they havent recieved anything. I dont have DC number either .. so i think i might be screwed. Logitech said that right now they cant do anything without one and to call back next week to see if it came in. USPS hasnt ever lost a package on me and since i was sending in state i would think they can not lose a package through a few counties.

RMA policies tell you to ship with tracking. Did you have a DC# or not ? Last week the USPS misrouted some ram that I bought. Fortunately I got it a few days later than I should have.

Yea it was my fault that I didnt get a DC number. I would hoping that they wouldnt lose it, shipping in the same state across 4 or 5 counties. Ive shipped from CA to Puerto Rico and it arrived no more than 4 days..

dont get worried, logitech may take 2-3 weeks before they 'RECEIVE' it , aka they actually open the package. It could be there, they just havent informed you or know about it. I had the same thing when I had to get my subwoofer fixed.

I feel for you...I hate not being able to do anything and wait. :/

My story:
our house is under construction, and the front entrance is under some rubble.
I was expecting 2 packages from USPS a few days apart. First one got delivered, and it got left within 10 feet of the front door (fine by me)
A few days later the tracking report said the second package had been delivered. I checked everywhere in front of the house and couldnt find a thing. I was worried one of the transient construction crew might have stolen it (it's happened before). After 4 days I found it sitting in the back yard by the gate. :|
And it had rained very heavily 3 of those 4 days. Luckily my speakers still worked. ;)

Next time use DC. Hell it is free if you print the label out from the internet.
