That's what I had thought, too. -edit - but WTF is the MF zip code for then?

Probably got misdirected. Maybe the zip-code was poorly written or it was just entered wrong when it was put into the system at the post office.

Who says it's going to be late? Priority is 3-5 days.
 
You can expect failure if you put your trust in USPS "tracking". I've never had any success with it. As it was explained to me ... USPS "tracking" is not tracking, it is more like delivery confirmation. I have received many, many packages that never ever showed up in their "tracking" system.

They don't advertise it as tracking, they don't even call it tracking. How is it fraud again?

The government gives you plenty of legitimate reasons to hate them, there's no need to make stuff up.
