Kinda worried about a package that's supposed to be coming to me. Got something off ebay, I know the guy shipped it (showed me scans of insurance). He shipped it last Monday from Los Angeles and it's supposed to be arriving here in the Sacramento, CA area. I've had a bunch of stuff shipped to me through Priority Mail before and it never took over a week to get here no matter how far it's been shipped from. Been over a week now and still no package.

The guy went as far to check with the PO he shipped it from and they said there might be a delay due to the mass mailings of the tax season. Strange thing is all other normal snail mail envelopes are coming in without delay (bills and crap). Should I be worried that a Priority Mail package is taking longer than it's supposed to?

Avg time for priority is *supposed* to be 3 days. If it takes over 5 business days, I'd be worried. Call up the post office and bitch... they might be buying time so they can find your lost package.

priority from my expirience is one step above the UPS POS, but they dont bang your package around like UPS does. as a matter of fact, a major industry in my area, largets maker of transformers in the world, put devices in shipping boxes to measure how well they treat their packages. FedEx turned out to be the best by far when it came to how they treat and handle the package, but they went with UPS because they were cheaper
