I'm thinking about buying one of these. Either .40 or in 9mm, cause i already have a 1911 (which is .45ACP). Obviously Heckler and Koch is one of the best companys out to make weapons, and the USP itself is a great gun. I was thinking about getting a compact version of the usp and using it for a concealed carry license one day. DOes anybody own one of these? Or reccomend them, or any other gun?

Thanks 😀

OK COMPUTERS NERDS! Get ouside.. shoot things, people.. get some sun.

Nobody knows anything about guns? =|

I don't quite enjoy going out and shooting random things for no apparent reason...

Anyway, this is a computer forum, what do you expect? A quick google search can easily send you to gun-related forums.

I shot all the firearms I ever wanted to a long time ago. I have some guns, but I haven't fired any of them in over 25 years.

Killing people cures most of the desire to play with guns.

I'm trained with Glocks & highly recommend them. My duty weapon is a Glock 22 .40, which is a full-size handgun. If you were going to CCW I'd say go with a Glock 23, which is a smaller version, or the Glock 27 which is a *really* small version.

I own an H&K USPc .45. I carry it everywhere I go (I do have a concealed carry permit). It is a fantastic weapon. You will not find a better quality, more reliable piece to depend on for personal protection. As far as the Glock goes as mentioned earlier, I also have a Glock 22 full size .40 and I HAD a Glock 27 compact .40. I sold the 27 to help pay for the H&K. Haven't looked back since. Not knocking the Glocks, they are also fantastic weapons and thousands of law enforcement agencies around the world use them. I found the Glock 27 to be just too small for me and I have small hands!!! The first time I picked up the H&K it seemed to fit my hand like a glove.
Anyway, all that being said, I would HIGHLY recommend purchasing the H&K if you can. I don't think you will be sorry. Even better, if you can, find someone who has one that is willing to let you shoot it at the range before you make a decision.
Also, here is a wonderful place for info: HKPro
