I’m pretty sure that you can increase the font size on your Kindle.

lol yes you can, but then there are only 16 words on a page! I have an older 7" Kindle Fire HDX with the higher resolution display than the junk they put out nowadays and plan to keep using it until it dies!

Not sure my STEAM library would fit on any phone,
The Android Steam app does not allow Windows PC games to be loaded and played on a phone. It allows the social aspect and the managing of content. You can buy a game with your phone if it is on sale for example but it must be loaded on a Windows PC to play it.

My biggest gripes about using a phone will never change. I don't want to use such a small display for browsing the web or playing games, and I have large fingers so typing and swiping just sux imho.
This is exactly what DeX fixes. DeX allows for the use of a full size montor, keyboard and mouse to be used with your phone. DeX mod also allows for multple windows of various sizes rather than just full screen apps. This is the entire point of the thread. All the screen shots I've posted are viewed on a 27 inch monitor and all the words have been typed on a full sized mechanical keyboard. The phone generates the display and the DeX provides HDMI and USB ports.

DeX Pad showing connections. The USB C plugs into the phone. The HDMI out goes to whatever sized monitor you have. The keyboard and mouse hook up to the USB.

I don't have a Samsung, but my wife does. Of course being my wife she has a laptop and a fast gaming pc with a 32" 4k monitor, so I'm not sure she'd use it or not. I could let her try it.

Not sure my STEAM library would fit on any phone, especially since most don't offer sd card slots anymore. I suppose if one could hook up a portable SSD drive. However I doubt it could also run my games at a reasonable FPS on my current monitor.

Realistically I would not mind using my phone for a casual PC. My biggest gripes about using a phone will never change. I don't want to use such a small display for browsing the web or playing games, and I have large fingers so typing and swiping just sux imho. Reading a book on a phone also sux, perhaps because I am older now and need 1.75 cheaters to even read my Kindle.
you are joking, like x86 games will play on your phone dex? it does however have a usb c hub that can connect ANYTHING to it, so space shouldnt be a issue.

Thank you mindless1.

Thanks to you I now use my phone more than ever. I had been using the computer for printing and scanning out of habit but your question prompted me use the phone instead. The HP app works perfectly from phone for scanning or printing.
