I have a pair of YSTM7 Yamaha speakers sitting on my desktop...I reallly like the sound they produce. I have an MX300 Soundcard with dual outs..Has anyone had any experience using 2 sets of desktop speakers as a "quad" type setup???
I will pull the subwoofer off of the main speaker pair on my desk...

Just have to figure out the Fader problem....

What do you need to know about that setup? I had a MX300, with 4 Cambridge Microworks speakers, and it worked pretty well. The A3D control panel that gets installed when you put in your sound card drivers can control fading, balance, etc on your 4 speakers.

I was using a pair of YST15s as my fronts with a Altec Lansing 40w sub, and a pair of MLI 691s as my rears on a SB Live and they were great all through college and the last year. It sounded pretty sweet....at least as good as some of the lower end Altec Lansing 4.1 setups.

I have since bought Klipsch Promdeia 400s which kick pretty much everything's ass, but I wasn't unhappy with my old setup just wanted something better now that I was working and could afford it.
