Last year, Microsoft had a promo going for "partners" where you got a copy of Win XP Pro full version and lava lamp for around $50. Lots of people, myself included, signed up for this even though we weren't really businesses. Anyway, to cut to the chase, it appears that everyone who got the lava lamp promo was automatically sent a copy of Server 2003 Premium. So lots of people are going to have this and have no use for it. After reading the above information, XP Pro is better for my computer than server. The package does come with Outlook 2003 and Frontpage 2003 on separate install disks, so I might be able to use these.
I wish I could sell this, but I probably won't try. While I doubt MS is keeping track of install keys for these NFR copies, I think they might bust you some other way. BTW, I did sell the copy of XP Pro I got with the lava lamp, but this was a full version, not the NFR copy.
