Using tab then space to post

In normal reply mode (for example when quoting someone), you type your post in the message box, then press tab 2x and space to post your message.

In quick reply at the bottom of the thread you type in the message box then press tab 1x and space to post your message.

In new thread mode, you type your message in the box and have to press tab 3x and then space to post your message.

Can anything be done to make this more consistent? Just one of the reasons I find vBulletin to be poorly conceived...
 
There's nothing we can reasonably do, I'm afraid. Those are vB quirks that have to be resolved by the developers.
