Using SHDN w/ Motherbaord Monitor 5

Set MBM to shutdown the comp when the fans stop or a temp limit, downloaded SHDN and set it all, tested it out but was a bit baffled as to why you have to have a minimum delay of 10secs before it even begins to shutdown, did these guys have Tbirds in mind when they wrote this software, if my fan stops, 15-20secs later my chip will be well on it's way to fvckedland, Shutdown Now it's called, should be shutdown in a minute or two. Any way around this or am I missing something?

If the fan stops, your T-Bird definately won't enter fvckedland. I ran a Duron 850 for about 3 Hours without fan, only with the HS, and it's still running fine. So no panic

The average T-Bird CPU fries itself in 3-4 seconds without HSF. If the fan stops spinning, there's still the heatsink, so it won't die before the system shuts down.
