Using SATA and PATA

Assuming that I have a beefy power supply, is it possible for me to run a full PATA setup + some SATA drives? Say, 2 PATA Hard drives, 2 PATA disc drives, and at least 1 SATA hard drive.

Would that drive the motherboard (EPoX NF4 ultra) crazy? Windows?

Nope. It'll work fine.

Yeap.. what size psu are you getting ? I have 12 drives on a 480w with dual xeon. Did it before with a powerman 350w and never had problem..

I'm running 1 PATA hard drive + 2 PATA disk drives + 2 SATA Disk drives on a cheapo 450W power supply and an MSI RS480 motherboard with no problems 😉
