Using Sandisk Cruzer Titanium with Sandisk Cruzer Mini MP3 companion... possible?

I have the Titanium and I was wondering if it might be possible to use it with the MP3 companion... I konw it would stick out and wouldn't fit like the Miicro, but I have heard ot people using the Minis in the companions... Just wonder if the Titanium woudl work. ANyone have any experience with this?
