Using retail heatsink/fan with 1GHz Tbird?

Is there any reason I should buy a heatsink/fan combo that's better than the one that comes with a retail 1GHz Tbird? I won't be doing any overclocking.

If you won't be doing any overclocking, then the retail heatsink should do fine.

that is an amd approved hs/fan for a reason dude. it's great.

I jus put together a 1.1 gig TBird and used the AMD fan. Averages 85 degrees F.

Buying another would be a waste of money if you don't plan on OCin' it.
