I was wondering if it's possible to tether my Galaxy S Blaze (T-Mobile) to either of my tablets:
- HP Touchpad running ICS
- Nook Color rooted running CM7

This would save me buying an external GPS receiver to connect to either tablet.

i believe CM9 or 10 on the nook color had the option to use a bluetooth GPS receiver at a system level. You can get bluetooth GPS apps on your phone that would work. I've done this with a nook color before - will try to find the app I used.

It would seem TetherGPS would get the GPS info from the phone, but then not sure if I'd need or want to use Co-Pilot vs. Google Maps.

if you use a 3rd party bluetooth gps provider (on your tablet) then it's iffy. It relies on the mock location service, which not all navigation apps listen to. I had trouble getting google navigation to work with it, although google maps worked fine. if I were you i'd try to get the CM version that had bluetooth location at a system level.
