Using pc as router

I have an old pc and will be setting it up as a router. On the pc i have about. 4 network cards giving me a total of 5 ethernet ports including the onboard ethernet. Does anyone know any router os's that would allow me to use all the network cards instead of buying a switch?

two off the top of my head, but never personally uses them,

pfsense and monowall.

You should be able to bridge the 4 nics to the same lan so they act like a 4 port switch instead of independent ports

Thanks for the heads up luckily i burned pfsense on my last dvd before i thought of this. Its good that it allows bridging

Its an old pc and im basically setting up my whole home network. I have 2 other pcs running as servers and their old to. I believe each pc has a 350watt psu. It shouldnt be that big of a deal.
