using Outlook and Firefox as default browser

Hi,

I'm using Outlook 2000 and Firefox 0.9.3. I just set Firefox as the default browser this morning. When I click on links in email messages, it opens two of the same window in the browser. First few times it didn't do it (Outlook just prompted for me to locate the browser EXE - which I orignally just clicked 'cancel,' but finally figure out. Now that I have chosen the browser, it opens two windows. I assume there is some kinda confusion with Outlook and Firefox?

It's a known bug in 0.9 Firefox.
Here's a fix for it.

However better option: download 1.0PR, you will love it.

Another good fix for anyone who's IE refuses to die is this:

1. Delete all copies of iexplore.exe (including c:\windows\system32\dllcache\iexplore.exe
2. Copy Firefox.exe to iexplore.exe in the places you found iexplor.

Now when windows tries to open IE it will open firefox
