Using old P4 that was made for rambus w/ DDR mobo.

My friend has an old P4 2.4g, 512cache, 533fsb (don't know core model) that he pulled from a used Dell. That system used Rambus memory and the mobo is dead. Can he use the CPU w/ a socket 478 mobo that uses DDR?

If the CPU is socket 478 it should be a northwood, so yes.
