as odd as it sounds i seem to have noticed that when i overclock i will definately get a crash or subsequent post failures if my cpu speed in mbm5 is being incorrectly reported:
for example i originally noticed that when i ran 9.5x200 @ 1.675 [stable o/c] it was correct at 1900 mhz
10x200 [any vcore upto 1.75!] and it read a lower speed [eg 1600s] - and it crashed frequently/failed to post needing hard cmos resets
10/10.5xanything read an incorrect speed [and it was very crashy]
9.5x200 at 1.65 = incorrect speed = bios checksum error on reboot
to date when the speed has been correctly reported it has breezed through testing with no probs!
