I dl'ed windows xp media center for somebody and it came as an .iso file of course. I used magicISO to burn the image, but when he inserts it..just the .iso file is there...he can't run anything or make it work. What do I do differently so when he puts in the disk, windows auto setup will run or similar?

Buy a legitimate copy.

And, by the way, you just publicly confessed to a crime.

Try this program instead:
http://www.imgburn.com/

Its what I use to burn linux distros, so should work with other iso.

Its one of the few burning programs that doesn't mind me using a dvd to burn a cd image.
Other burning programs tend to complain and want a blank cd.
