using internet

i work at Sam's Club (walmart's sister store) and i was wondering how i could use the internet. some days ins't really dead (i work in a photo lab) and i would like to review cameras at cnet or any other various things that deal with the internet, but i cant connect. i know we have it because you can send picture online to our store for development, and also, when i go to start>settings>network connections>lan it shows packets being sent and received, but anytime i use my firefox portable, i just get cannot connect errors. anyone got any ideas?

Ask one of your store managers. I'm sure, if they allow it, that they can tell you how. Although somehow I doubt they pay you to surf the web.

Stores like Walmart usually keep it locked down pretty tight. Sounds like they're blocking port 80 on your IP tho.

Yep, but I bet they just use a Linksys WRT54G, so it should be easy to get into and change 🙂
