The major one is cornstarch.

look at what is in it, the ingrediants, that will tell you why it burns
The active ingredients of Original Strength Gold Bond Powder are Menthol (0.15%) and Zinc Oxide (1.0%). Some skews, such as Gold Bond Extra Strength Powder, offer higher concentrations of the active ingredients.
It doesn't burn at all. As you'd expect from it containing menthol, it gives you a nice cooling sensation.
It definately did not give me a cooling sensation. I used Gold Bond down there once and it felt like someone had set my balls on fire.
lmao, did u recently shave?

don't use gold bond, its medicated, unless of course there are something seriously wrong with your boys. use regular baby powder instead...works the same without the pain.
i use baby powder, but i may try goldbond. my nuts always itch, ever since puberty my nuts always itch, it sucks.

Ah ok. Does it form a paste if you do sweat tho? In the hospital it is a policy not to use talc powder on patients who sweat and cannot move because the talc powder when mixed with sweat actually forms a paste. Have you experienced this with gold bond powder?

I can't imagine how you could get enough of it to adhere to form a paste. You just pat on a small amount.
I remain at a loss to understand how this could create a burning sensation for anyone. It feels like a subtler version of menthol shaving cream.

A bit, but the fact that they are cradled keeps them from sticking to my legs.

Thats understandable. However, you do know keeping the testicles so close to your body actually decreases sperm count? ( Maybe important if you are trying to have a child, or if that is important to you.). It interrupts the thermoregulation of your balls. Because when its hot theyshould be hanging farther down. Just an FYI.

I have only heard about it not he internet, and never tried it. I don't generally tend to put anything on my genitals that I've only heard about on the internet.

1. I don't want to impregnate anyone
2. My sperm count has never been low
3. My sex life is quite active
In other words, I've never had a problem with briefs... and I have the added benefit of never having sat on my balls.

I pretty much always apply a little Gold Bond after I drop a deuce, if I don't have time to shower. It's zesty and refreshing!
