Using e-mail for one ISP through another

I still use the Road Runner e-mail address that I set up as an additional e-mail under my parent's Road Runner account. The neighborhood I now live in has some small Cable provider, so I switched from cable to Windstream's DSL. I can still receive my Road Runner e-mail through Outlook, but I can't send any. My POP3 and SMTP server settings in Outlook are still set to Road Runner's and worked fine while I was with the small Cable ISP. Now that I switched to a larger company, I need to find a work around so I can still send/receive my Road Runner e-mail. Does anyone know what needs to be done to the SMTP settings to get it to work?
 
Try using:

mail.alltel.net

or mail.windstream.net

in both the POP and SMTP settiings box of Outlook

Leave the ports as the Outlook Defaults
 
Thanks bruceb! I tried changing both to the mail.windstream.net first, but that didn't work. I then tried the mail.alltel.net for the SMTP and it worked. I greatly appreciate the help!
 
They may block the outgoing mail port 25. You will need to select another e-mail account that does not rely on port 25 to send mail.
