using cygwin with textpad?

hey anyone know how to config cygwin and textpad?

or should i use another c compliler for windows?

i just want it to be a gnu kind of thing so that its compatible with the linux machines at school..

gcc should run fine from cmd or whatever as long as it's in your path, never really tried though.

well it doesnt...
and i dont think i installed cygwin properly cuz i cant find gcc at all

make sure you select gcc, it might not be a default package

Run setup and look through the packages...

ya but theres so many packages i have no idea where gcc is
thats all i want really not any of the other stuff...

It's in the list, you'll just have to go through it all if you don't want everything.
