Using CRT Monitor as TV

Ok, here's the deal. I have a HUGE old 36'' CRT VGA monitor that I am going to use as a TV in one of my rooms.
I was wondering the best way to send the signal to this monster?
My options are either component to VGA, composite to VGA, HDMI to VGA, or s-video to VGA.
I know that may sound like a no-brainer, but I don't have the proper converter yet for each of those signal types and I don't want to buy one of each just to do the eyeball test.

Any advice would be appreciated!

Just know that VGA is different in format from the typical component implementation on a TV, therefore you can't usually use a straight adapter.

You'll need an active conversion device which will likely cost some money. Seeing as you're going to be paying for it anyway, I would look for either component to VGA or HDMI to VGA.

tell us what the signal is . your computer? if so, what videocard do you have and what outputs are on it?

same as any other TV, approx 640x480. It might have more lines on it than the average tv, though so it might be more detailed
